A military airstrike over Waybula town, Falam township in Chin State at around 11 a.m. on April 10 resulted in the deaths of nine civilians (six men and three women), including a Christian pastor and a headmaster who worked under Falam Township Interim Education Board.

At least four people suffered significant injuries as well. The council claims that the Burma Army carried out another airstrike that evening over Ranhtalo village in Falam township, but no one was injured.

On April 6, the troops set Ranhtalo village ablaze, destroying a total of 17 homes.
