Two children were among three people injured after the junta forces conducted drone attacks and artillery shelling near Namtaung village in Hsihseng township.

The three victims belong to one family who were tending their farm when artillery shells hit them on 25 April. The victims were 8-years-old and 6-years-old children and a 29-years-old woman. Other villager fled their homes for fear of being hit by artillery shells.

The Pa-O National Army (PNA) said junta forces, along with pro-military Pa-O militia group also conducted drone attacks and artillery shells at nearby Wunlon village at about 3 pm on 29 April.

Residents claim the military fired random shots at several the villages in Hsihseng town even without any clashes. The internally displaced person (IDPs) from the town have been preparing to return to their villages after being displaced for more than three months due to previous fighting.
